Your birth data is sensitive. We treat it that way.

The Service — anything that transmits account or birth details to us, or requires payment — is directed at users in the United States and the United Kingdom. It is not offered or directed to individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA), and we have not appointed a representative under Article 27 of the EU GDPR. If you are in the EEA, please do not use the Service to submit personal data.

Separately, this site has free information pages that collect nothing at all. The daily horoscope asks for no birth details. Neither does Zodiac×MBTI: you choose a Sun sign and an MBTI, and that choice only decides which page opens. Nothing is kept on your device and nothing is sent to us. These pages need no account, set no cookie and store nothing about the reader on our systems. Because we do not process personal data there, those pages may be read from anywhere. That statement does not extend the Service, and everything else in this policy continues to describe the Service.

• Birth details — date, time (if known) and place — to compute your reading.
• Calling×MBTI self-report — the MBTI you choose for a paid Calling×MBTI whole-chart report. We treat it as your current self-description, not a diagnosis or ability assessment.
• Optional current city — a city you select for a Calling×MBTI relocated chart. Its coordinates are processed for that calculation but are not saved; the city/country label and calculated relocated-chart facts remain in your saved report.
• Account — your email address, for passwordless sign-in and to deliver your reading.
• Payments — handled by Google Play; we receive order and entitlement confirmation, never your card number.
• Third-party subjects — a calculation-only synastry result is returned without saving the report or the other person's details. If you save or unlock an interpretation, we store under your account only an alias and their birth date, time and place: no name, contact or photo.
• Technical — minimal logs needed to run the service securely, and a device token if you opt in to weekly notifications.

Android permissions. The app asks your phone for a small, fixed set of permissions, and it lists every one of them — with what each is for, and whether Android asked you or granted it when you installed the app — in Settings. None of them is location, contacts, camera, microphone, your files, or an advertising identifier.

• To provide your reading and account — performance of our contract with you.
• Tax and record-keeping — compliance with our legal obligations.
• Security and minimal third-party data — our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
• Sensitive data — where a same-sex synastry could imply information about sexual orientation, we rely on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time. For UK users these bases correspond to Articles 6 and 9 of the UK GDPR.

We do not sell your personal data. We use a small set of processors:

• Google Play — processes payments and applicable taxes.
• Brevo (EU) — to send sign-in and reading-delivery emails.
• Our hosting provider — to run the service (see data location below).
• An AI narrative provider — used only where a report explicitly includes AI phrasing; it receives de-identified structure (no name, email or identifying data). Weekly, monthly, synastry and Calling×MBTI interpretations are deterministic and do not use this provider. We disable model training where available; the provider is transitional and not contractually zero-retention.

Ecologi is not on that list. They plant the trees for the optional add-on, and they receive no personal data from us at all: we send them a number of trees and a batch reference, never your name, email, order or anything else that identifies you.

The service is hosted in Japan. Some processors operate outside your country (for example Google and Brevo); where they do, they rely on their own approved safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent frameworks. We keep transfers to the minimum needed to run the Service.

• Account, birth data, a Calling×MBTI report's MBTI and selected current-city label, and the readings you buy once — for the life of your account. Calling×MBTI current-city coordinates are not retained. Stateless synastry calculation inputs and results are not added to your account.
• Weekly and monthly interpretations — the last four of each. A fifth replaces the oldest, which is deleted. Save a PDF of one you want to keep.
• Your account itself — erased automatically after 13 months with no sign-in and no use, together with everything above that belongs to it. An account still holding a running subscription or a credit you have not spent is never erased this way.
• Transaction and tax records — retained as required by law (kept after erasure with personal identifiers removed).
• Tree-planting add-ons — recorded with the transaction that paid for them. Deleting your account does not withdraw one you already paid for, and the record that remains carries nothing identifying you.
• Consent records — for the processing period plus the applicable limitation period.
• Sign-in tokens (~15 minutes). Sessions: 30 days from sign-in for an email account, and 30 days from last use for a device account the app created; signing out deletes that session at once.
• AI provider requests are not kept as a separate log by us. The generated narrative is retained inside the saved report for the life of your account, under the same deletion and export controls as the rest of that report.

You can access, correct, export, delete or restrict your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent — directly from your account or by emailing ananke@anankeastro.com. UK users hold these rights under the UK GDPR and may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). US users, including California residents, may request access to or deletion of their personal information, which we never sell.

We serve the site over HTTPS and store only what we need. We use strictly necessary storage in your browser (local storage), not tracking cookies; we do not use advertising or analytics trackers. The free Calling×MBTI page's local birthday, Sun-sign and self-report selections can be removed with its Clear local inputs control.

The Service is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
